WARGASM
A collision of thrash guitars, electro dancefloor, and unapologetic sex appeal. The British duo Sam Matlock and Milkie Way can turn an underground goth club upside down one night, and an open-air festival the next day. That’s why the duo has accumulated millions of streams and become the most anticipated band at the moment.
LIFESICK
Lifesick feeds on violence. Recently signed to Metal Blade Records, the Danish band charges full throttle into modern hardcore with beatdown influences. A cathartic experience right in your face!
BORGNE
The return of the iconic and pioneering Swiss underground black metal band will take place at the Abyss! Borgne rekindles the fury after more than ten albums, often considered inaccessible and unconventional, and promises us a grumbling renaissance with their destructive instruments: mechanical blastbeats, keyboards, guitars, and icy vocals.
RIFLE
Dust off your Trainspotting cassette and grab the bat! With their sharp sound and cutting lyrics, Rifle is ready to leave a lasting mark on the punk music scene, reminding us that the rebellious spirit is still very much alive in the heart of London.
EXIT
Inspired not only by old-school death metal bands but also by thrash metal, hardcore, and grindcore, the band has produced six albums and become an important figure in the Swiss metal scene for over 20 years.
RADON
A dark blend of black, doom, and sludge, Radon excommunicates its audience with its screaming rage and lo-fi soundscape. Returning from a North American tour, the Zurich trio will cover us with dark clouds during their set.
CAGE
The energy of Cage strikes uncompromisingly: pure rage is concentrated in a raw and straightforward debut album. Biting riffs, frenetic and atypical influences. For those who can never get enough, who always think it’s not hardcore enough, not punk enough, Cage is here.
TERRAIN VAGUE
“Walk or Die,” “Ode to Existence,” or “Dumpster Diver,” Terrain Vague is grindcore with political claims, just the way we like it. Recently becoming a trio, the Vevey-based band quickly proved their worth with performances in local squats and venues.

SOULFLY
We are particularly excited to welcome Soulfly, the band created by Max Cavalera after his departure from Sepultura. The brilliant Brazilian guitarist has made this band a vehicle for his creativity, combining thrash, groove, and nu-metal with tribal and ethnic music.
CATTLE DECAPITATION
Believe it or not, it has now been over twenty years since Cattle Decapitation has been waging an intense battle against animal abuse by condemning the human species. The Americans are known for smashing our faces with brutal Death Grind, and this is just a continuation with their latest album, *Terrasite*. The poachers of Lake Gruyère had better watch out...
RENDEZ VOUS
We can finally stop longing. The French band is back with their second album, just a decade after their remarkable first EP. *Downcast*, a succession of tracks that leave behind their new wave influences for sounds and rhythms that are undeniably more grunge and garage than what Rendez Vous had accustomed us to. The strength of age? Perhaps!
IGGOR CAVALERA
Iggor and his older brother Max Cavalera are the founding members of the Brazilian thrash metal band Sepultura. Since 2004, he has been a DJ and electronic music producer, touring the world and performing at festivals such as Glastonbury, Bestival, and Reading. Respected and often imitated for his creativity and underground vision, Iggor is preparing a unique electronic experience with modulars and percussion pads.
LOWEN
Now masters of their Metal, Lowen takes it up a notch, breaking conventions. In their possible leader role, the London band is at ease, leaving us to sort through their many Doom, Progressive, Death influences, with a touch of the East in the impressive vocals of their singer Nina Saeidi.
SEVERE TORTURE
Some band names set the tone from the get-go: Severe Torture, for example. Formed in 1997 in the Netherlands, the band plays very brutal death metal, heavily inspired by Cannibal Corpse in both image and music. Nearly three decades after its creation, the quintet now boasts a groovier, better-produced sound, but still as brutal as ever.
REVEREND BEAT MAN
The most terrifying and fiery One Man Band you can find on stage. Preacher from hell, electric demon, space bluesman. Touring around the world, Beat Zeller summons the ghosts of rock'n'roll like Screamin Jay Hawkins, GG Allin, Hank Williams... From the first notes, the spell will be cast on the Abyss Festival audience, and the “Jesus Christ Twist” will electrify the souls present.
THANTIFAXATH
Most fans of dizzying Black aesthetics know the infernal trio formed by the Canadians Thantifaxath. The three hooded figures will offer you not only a one-way ticket to hell, but also a bar-car of fury and oddities.
EMERALD
The return of our favorite Singinois and Singinoises will also mark the band’s 30th anniversary! The quest for the emerald continues its saga with traditional Heavy Metal soundtracks, where restless souls roam through warm nights, where the winning reaper reigns with his legion of fear.
FVRIA
FVRIA is an international project, based in Switzerland for obvious tax reasons, led by the notorious Don Valentino (DJ/beatmaker), Stemutz (drummer), and Morgane Killroy (singer). Blending hip-hop, punk, metal, and electro, their music is the soundtrack of their project.
KINGBIRD
Their project? To celebrate rock in all its forms with covers of bands like Placebo, Jeff Buckley, Queens of the Stone Age, and Smashing Pumpkins, among others...

Coming by Car
For those arriving by car, a parking lot is available.
The parking lot is located 5 to 15 minutes on foot from the festival.
Since parking spaces are limited, we encourage you to carpool whenever possible.
Coming by Public Transportation
Line 234 of the Fribourg Public Transport (TPF) serves the "Hauteville, Le Ruz" stop, which is a 5-minute walk from the festival.

Camping & RVs
A small camping area is available from Thursday 16:00, lit and secured, only accessible to ticket holders; spaces are limited.
The wine bar is open on Friday and Saturday mornings for breakfast from 8:00 to 10:00.
The organizer assumes no responsibility in case of accidents or theft
RVs: A spot is reserved for RVs in close proximity to the festival site.

Safety
- Animals are not allowed on the festival site
- Bringing your own beverages is prohibited, they will be confiscated
- Fires or gas grills are not allowed on the site
- Video devices are prohibited
- Persons under 15 must be accompanied by an adult
- The site is accessible to people with reduced mobility. (Gravel ground and access / without reserved platforms) For disabled persons requiring assistance, only the disabled person needs to have an entry ticket. (Disability = person with long-term limitations in movement or autonomy requiring assistance) Parking next to the main entrance.
- Lake access is not possible from the site; the festival declines all responsibility in case of an accident
- Boat access is possible outside the site but under the responsibility of the festival-goer
